English for Young Learners (EYL)

This year-round program has been designed for children to learn BC grade-school material and accustom to the public school system in BC.

Students will take weekly library trips, and be expected to complete the school system book list throughout their term.

PROGRAM

  • English learning with same age group students in BC grade-school style classes

  • Qualified native English speaking teachers experienced teaching BC grade school

  • Students learn the subjects being taught to students living in BC with an English focus

  • Students will complete 4-8 books a month

  • Weekly library trips, homework assignments, and class projects

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS & PROGRAM INFORMATION

  • Students ages 7 – 15
    Students 16+ can take GC’s PST program

  • Minimum 4-week enrollment

  • Start date every Monday

  • Monday to Thursday (9am – 3pm) Friday (9 am – 12 pm)
